I can fire, but can't confirm menu items.

So, I got a bug at the end of a mission just recently. I could still move around and fire, but nothing in the Tactics, Ship Building, Research, or Star Map could be selected though I could move my mouse. The main menu could not be selected either. I'm in Chapter Four if it helps.

Also, tried using the Huge Mining Laser on the... Grinder I think it was? It wouldn't fire. I haven't tried since, maybe it just needed an arseload of juice (over a single upgraded reactor) to work.

Otherwise, I've really enjoyed the game thus far and had no other issues. Cheers!

That is strange. Did this just start happening in sector 4?

The huge mining laser on the grinder takes a while to charge up. Keep holding the mouse button down and it should fire.
