Author's Note: After many months of testing out V5.80 (and having failure after failure) and deliberation on continuing/discontinuing, I've decided to discontinue production of this mod. If anyone wishes to utilize the ideas or code from the mod, you can do so without sending me a PM or anything. I give permission to whoever wants to continuing developing it. I've lost interest in developing it, and in general SPAZ modding. Have fun!

Here's my insanity mod. Its a work in progress, and should show up as DEBUG right now in the mod selection, and it is currently version 1.2. I'll update it periodically, and post the newer version when I get to it. If you want to see what I've done, I've made a changelog.txt that explains all my changes, and what the original values were. I particularly add a new version when a more indepth mod toolkit comes out.

I think you should include a Read Me with the folder that lists the changes explained for people who don't mod. Otherwise, this is sexy.

is there anyway you can alter the UI so that the A,B,C preset buttons can be used in the hanger bay?

Heres V1.4 now for anyone that wants to give it a try.

Also figured out what the InvasionScale does (made a note in the readme) and that I mixed up the Hunter and Normal SRM for missiles fired.

@Megas: I just checked and you can still use ABC setup ship mods. Only thing is now you have to hit the button directly in the center. You'll know you'll hit it when the button turns green. Just keep moving your mouse around until you hit it.

Sorry for this issue, it was unintended as we only shipped with 4 hangars on hehe. We will try to make an adjustment to make it a little better next patch.

Also, I've completed a partial run and am satisfied with all this mod is proceeding. Those who have tried it will probably feel invincible early game however, the difficulty ramps up quickly however in Chapter 3 and Chapter 4. In chapter 3 I encountered a Starcruiser with 6000 shields, and 8000 hull hp and insanely strong armor sections... it took all 8 of my ships combined fire to take it out. And then I encountered something worse. A T3 UTA base with 14000 shields and 28000 HP, and even better armor sections. It wiped out all 8 of my ships very fast.

Now, I'm going to get to work on some ships and other weapons for the next version of the mod.

V1.6 is now available. A lot has been changed, and a word of warning. Massbombs are much nastier now, and their wisps will detonate twice as fast. Also, motherships have had their weapon slot sizes increased. A future update may change what is in those slots.

EDIT: Forgot to change the version to V1.6 in the description file, so it will still show up as V1.5

Those mass bomb changes are maybe a bit to harsh. I was in chapter 2 in insanity difficulty with tech level 51 with 6 in hull and cloak and 5 in armor. Every ship was equipped with stable cloak and medium armor (if equippable). One shot from a level 25 warpgate Helix and every ship except my Brute and one Hydra were gone.

K tested the mod. Gonna turn down initial bomb damage. Also, avoid huge ships... they nasty.

Got caught between a carrier and a sunspot... YOUCH! Btw, I'm testing the game on Normal Difficulty, if you are finding Insanity hard, that is why. Normal gives I believe 80 / 100 damage mult and insane is 200 / 100 damage mult.

V1.7 here. Mass bombs do initially lower damage but the wisps still are mean and nasty.
