Well now that you've boosted the helix bomb damage I'll have to retry it to be sure but it might be a good idea to look at it since you've played with bomb damage twice now. That's the one that annoyed me the most because my only viable weapon was far too weak. 33% is a significant boost, might well have changed things.
I started a new game I'll report more when I get to that point again.
The beacon events sucked simply because my one and only input was targeting, I had no control over setting, movement, or allies. The ability to pass commands via tactics to my wingmen would really help.
The "dog fighting" events were not fun, that one definitely felt like luck waiting for my escorts to magically go postal, especially considering the time limit. I think they should all be timed or none of them. (I vote none.)

) Zombified and time expired definitely needs to trigger mission fail retry dialog. As of the last patch it didn't.
I would say the first zombie mission, but after I lucked into it the first time I tried it again later and dropping armor and running away made it fairly easy.
I'm quick to add I may just be an atrocious pilot so consider that when reading my complaints
